An NRA/USAS/CMP-sanctioned Smallbore/Air Rifle Coach School will be held on September 7 & 8, 2019 at Anne Arundel Fish & Game Club, 1430 St. Margaret’s Road, Annapolis, MD 21401. Class time is from 0745 to 1700 each day. Successful completion of the clinic leads to accreditation as a Smallbore Rifle/Air Rifle (Level 1) Coach or Junior Coach (age 15-17) – Letters of recommendation are required from the parent and coach for each athlete. (Fees are the same). Clinic includes: Safety and Legal Requirements, Sports Psychology, Training Plans, Fundamentals, Rules, Hands-on Position Coaching, Equipment, and other subjects. See below for cost. Fees (made payable “Andrea Miller”) includes lunch on Saturday and Sunday, substantial course handouts, and coach’s notebook. Coaches will take a graduation test Saturday evening and it will be peer graded Sunday afternoon. Anyone who fails can retake the test. The class should end around 5 PM Sunday afternoon.

Coach’s fees must be received by August 16, 2019. The coach is NOT enrolled until the money is received. NO slot will be held on a promise to attend. (Materials will be ordered based on the date enrollment closes as stated on the NRA Web Site and herein. No-shows or cancellations will be refunded only the $100 NRA enrollment fee.
Appointed Level One* coaches are encouraged to enhance their previous by auditing the course for $5 (meals.) *Auditing Level 1 coaches do NOT register on line.
